The first tee times of golf's second major of the year are just less than 12 hours away and Pinehurst No.2 in North Carolina. As with most majors, the US Open is filled with many of golf's top ranked players, as well as amateurs alike. Given that variety of players, here's who we think is going to win it this year:
1) Jason Day > his performance in majors is always excellent
2) Phil Mickelson > sooner or later he's bound to win this one
3) Luke Donald
Our two favourite players will also be competing this year, so naturally we are rooting for them also:
1) Graeme McDowell
2) Miguel Angel Jimenez
